Stars' Richards Injured Again
Brad Richards returned to the Stars? lineup Saturday after missing 15 games because of a wrist injury, but the former playoff MVP then broke his other hand in the third period of Dallas? loss to the Sharks, as reported by the Associated Press.
Richards again is out indefinitely with a spiral fracture in his left hand, dealing another heavy blow to the Stars? fading playoff hopes.

Brodeur Notches Shutout No. 101
Devils goalie Martin Brodeur is closing in on another record after recording the 101st shutout of his illustrious career.
New Jersey defeated Minnesota 4-0 on Friday night, Brodeur's first game since he set the all-time wins record.
Terry Sawchuk has the NHL record for shutouts with 103.
"It's a lot of shutouts," Brodeur said. "That record is proof of commitment by an organization to play well defensively. You can't do it by yourself. With the amount of shutouts that I've got, you've got to consider that the team is doing the right things."
Ovechkin Scores NHL-Leading 50th Goal
Alex Ovechkin scored his NHL-leading 50th goal to become the Capitals first three-time 50-goal scorer in the Capitals? 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay on Thursday night, as reported by the Associated Press.
After the first-period goal, Ovechkin followed through with a plan to put his stick on the ice and pretend to warm his hands over it.
Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau said he planned to speak to Ovechkin about the orchestrated showmanship.
Brodeur Sets NHL Record For Wins
Martin Brodeur posted his 552nd win and passed childhood idol and Hall of Famer Patrick Roy for the most career victories by a goaltender in NHL history. He made 30 saves in the Devils? 3-2 victory over the Blackhawks on Tuesday night, as reported by the Associated Press.
The win came in Brodeur?s 987th game of a 15-year career played entirely with the Devils.
